Software Engineer (C++)

Resight is a young startup looking to change the world by building infrastructure for augmented reality applications. Resight Engine enables developers to write spatial applications that “live” in the physical world and are attached to it. Our technology is based on a distributed system that indexes the world through mobile devices in real-time, applying machine learning, computer vision, non-linear optimization, and distributed computing.

What we are looking for:

A super talented software engineer and programmer, to work on some of the most challenging topics, from domains such as distributed computing, machine learning, ownership, real-time programming, algorithms and probabilistic graphs.

What you will do:

• Build modern C++ code that implement Resight's platform
• Design and execute new modules and features
• Collaborate with other engineers throughout the development process
• Design, develop, and test applications and APIs for devices

Requirements:

• 3+ years professional experience in a programming role using C++ to build native tools
• Hands-on experience with multiplayer or networking in C++
• Experience with build systems like cmake and others
• Understanding of iteration techniques, like using automation and tooling to unit test code and increase reliability
• Strong written and oral communication skills

Advantage:

• Knowledge in the fields of distributed systems, real-time programming, mobile device, machine learning and networking
• Experience with Unity3D, Python, Rust, GO
• Hands on experience developing and deploying applications to iOS and/or Android
• Familiarity with using Google's native libwebrtc library is a plus
